Dr Ngenda studied at the University of Queensland for her undergraduate medical degree, going on to specialise in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Her training was undertaken in Queensland, mainly at the Royal Women’s Hospital. During this time she was involved in the Flying Obstetric and Gynaecology Service. She is currently a specialist consultant at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH), involved in general gynaecology. She has also established a Vulval Clinic at the RBWH, being a member of the Australian and New Zealand Vulvovaginal Society. Dr Ngenda also maintains a private obstetrics and gynaecology practice at Sunnybank Private Hospital (since 2002). She has a keen interest in laparoscopic surgery. Dr Ngenda has developed a special interest in infertility, offering services through the Sunnybank branch of City Fertility Clinic.
