Andrew first trained at St Thomas’s Hospital in London then went on to complete his post graduate training at Bristol St Michael’s University Hospital. He has had extensive experience in all areas of obstetrics and gynaecology including high-risk obstetrics. Andrew is an associate of City Fertility Centre and is able to offer fertility treatments including IVF.

He also has a special interest in pelvic floor surgery including vaginal mesh procedures using both polypropelene and biological mesh. Currently he is able to offer patients a minimally invasive single incision mesh approach.

He is a member of the international Uro-gynaecology Association and has an interest in urodynamics and urinary continence management. Andrew is able to provide general gynaecology services with a minimally invasive approach. He introduced outpatient hysteroscopy into New Zealand and will be involved in setting up outpatient endoscopy services at Sunnybank Private Hospital. This will include endoscopic endometrial ablation. He has extensive experience in Laparoscopic Hysterectomy , Laparoscopic Sub- total hysterectomy and laparoscopic management of endometriosis. He has practiced as a specialist obstetrician in both private and public since 1997.
